Seducing The Throne

Another woman told The Daily Beast last year that when invited to dinner with Andrew in his private quarters (a modest one bedroom apartment) at Buckingham Palace she was invited to sit on the throne and also led on to the balcony where she was encouraged to wave to imaginary crowds.

The woman also told The Daily Beast she had been invited to sit on the throne, but we did not report this detail in the story at the time, which was about the connections between Andrew, Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

The Throne Room at Buckingham Palace is one of the most recognizable spaces in the palace as it is often used as the venue for investitures and other ceremonies. It has two adjacent thrones on a raised dais. One is for the monarch and one is for their partner; our source said Andrew invited them to try both out.

When her father, Jared, lost the kingdom he had forcibly taken, Jared's daughter introduced a plan to reinstall her father to the throne. It involved seducing the king's friend Akish and then having him kill her own grandfather, king Omer. The Lord warned Omer to flee and Jared became king. Jared's daughter became the wife of Akish who then had Jared killed while he sat upon his throne. Whatever she hoped to gain was shattered as Akish become mad with greed and power, even killing his own sons. Ultimately, Akish and she (presumably) died in the war that destroyed all but thirty of the inhabitants of the kingdom.

Daemon's reckless behavior drove Viserys closer to Otto Hightower, who manipulated the king into a marriage with his daughter Alicent that led to the birth of a son, Aegon. This created the potential rivalry for the throne. Daemon seduced Rhaenyra, awakening her passion and encouraging her ill-fated relationship with Ser Criston. His murderous actions to rid himself of his unwanted wife Rhea Royce have led to yet another enemy in Rhea's cousin Ser Gerold Royce.

Thronebreak: The Witcher Tales is not at all what I expected. When I sunk 100+ hours into The Witcher 3, you couldn't pay me to stop my monster hunting and sorceress seducing long enough to visit a tavern for a game of Gwent; it just didn't appeal to me at all when there was so much action-adventure to be had. When Gwent later released as a stand-alone game, I still couldn't be bothered. Three years of every expansion for Hearthstone, flirting with Teppen, and a recent affair with Legends of Runeterra left me with no time to get into Gwent.

Aristophanes, Birds 1720 ff (trans. O'Neill) (Greek comedy C5th to 4th B.C.) :"Let your nuptial hymns, your nuptial songs, greet him and his [wife]! 'Twas in the midst of such [wedding] festivities that the Moirai (Fates) formerly united Olympian Hera to the King [Zeus] who governs the gods from the summit of his inaccessible throne. Oh! Hymen! oh! Hymenaios! Rosy Eros with the golden wings held the reins and guided the chariot; 'twas he, who presided over the union of Zeus and the fortunate Hera. Oh! Hymen! oh! Hymenaios!"

Pausanias, Description of Greece 3. 18. 16 :"[Amongst the scenes depicted on the throne of Apollon at Amyklai near Sparta :] There are also represented . . . the fabled binding of Hera by Hephaistos."

Amora the Enchantress is an Asgardian goddess and most powerful sorceress in the Nine Realms. She learned the ways of magic by seducing other sorcerers, and forcing them to reveal their ancient secrets to her until she surpassed them. Amora is a master of manipulation and seduction, and often makes her pawns feel in-charge as long as she gets her way. She most often uses Loki as her instrument to gain power. Amora later gets an immense power boost after she joins Surtur and becomes the Demon Queen.

At some point of her life, Amora had wanted to seduce Thor (for the throne) but he saw through it, and rejected her for Sif. Because of this, she targeted and used Thor's little adopted brother Loki to destroy Thor's life.

When Loki's first attack on Asgard failed, he was imprisoned by Odin to the Isle of Silence. Odin knew that Loki was not powerful enough to break the prison's spell, and therefore felt confident entering the Odin sleep. Enchantress took this opportunity to visit Loki with her Executioner in his prison. She easily broke Odin's spell and allowed Loki to speak. She then discussed a plan to usurp Odin's throne with him, and after determining that the plan had merit, she freed Loki from the prison.

Thor is Amora's prize. She wants to seduce him as he is the heir to Asgard's throne. She is seen always manipulating Thor or those around him. But, it also seems at some points that Amora genuinely loves and cares for Thor. She has always had a soft spot for Thor and mostly hesitates to harm him. As the Demon Queen however it seems that she no longer cares for Thor, and orders Loki to kill him.

How do I benefit? Is there any way I can actually profit from putting my illegitimate child on the throne? Can I somehow tell that he's mine once he inherited, legitimize him and he becomes of my dynasty? Can he be of my bastard-dynasty and be easier to ally with? Is there actually any use in this accomplishment, except 'for the fun of it'?

Nearly a decade after their marriage, the civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons begins when Viserys I dies. Rhaenyra, his designated heir, is not even informed of her father's death until after her half-brother, Aegon II, scoops up the throne for himself. Of course, Rhaenyra is not interested in going down without a fight, and Daemon staunchly supports her: in fact, he crowns her personally with her late father's crown.

Neither Rhaenyra nor Daemon live to see the end of the Dance of the Dragons, but neither does Aegon II. With both claimants to the Iron throne dead, The Dance of the Dragons ends in a negotiated peace and sees Rhaenyra and Daemon's son, Aegon III Targaryen (aka, Aegon the Younger), crowned king. Descendants of Rhaenyra and Daemon sit on the Iron Throne until the fall of the Targaryen dynasty centuries later.

A few weeks after the events in Hybern's throne room, the King of Hybern sends a delegation made up of his twin nephews Princes Dagdan and Brannagh along with Jurian, they are welcomed by Tamlin, Lucien, Feyre and Ianthe into the manor. They have gone on the supposed mission of inspecting the fissures of the Wall. 2ff7e9595c
